December 12th - 16th 2011 "Random Acts of Kindness Week"
Everyone knows that December is a time for giving, right? And when people think about giving, the first thought that comes to mind is- "presents." But the funny thing is that, presents aren't the only gift that one can give. Here's an idea, instead of just spending loads of money buying presents for all your friends; think up a random act of kindness, hand wrap it with a little thoughtfulness and seal it with a smile! Small gestures of love can be just as nice a gift as any old iPad 2.... well.
The Loreto Balbriggan Student Council are naming the week of the 12th of Decemeber,
Week.
This is a week were all students and staff are encouraged to participate and do a random act of kindness. What is an act of random kindness? Well, we have defined it as a small gesture that puts a smile on another's face. The event was started last year and the council hope that this year's Random Acts of Kindness week will be as succesful as the last.
