4D Doodle4Google

The Transition Years under the direction of Ms. Lennon and Ms. Fagan staged a wonderful Form and Fusion Fashion Show on the 22nd, 23rd and 24th of November. The theme was 'The Brother's Grimm' and they did it extremely well.

The 4D transition year class have been drawing for the Doodle4Google competition. Here are some of the entries:

In September the majority of the Transition Years took a PE/Outdoor pursuits trip to The Kippure Estates Wicklow. They enjoyed a range of activities from adventures such as rock climbing, abseiling and kayaking, to team building skills such as survival challenges, orienteering and water rocket-making. Ms Ward's 4th year Home Economics students attended a workshop and tour in Teagasc Food Research Centrein Ashtown last Friday the 18th of November. This tour was part of Science week and was aimed at transition year students. The students got a tour of the plant and laboratorys. They also got to take part in a Sensory Analysis workshop.
