On Friday, 11th September, our 5th and 6th Year Student Leaders were formally presented with their leadership badges at a special ceremony attended by their Year Heads and Principal, Ms McNally. Students received their Senior Prefect, Captain and Coordinator badges, marking the beginning of their leadership roles for the 2026–2027 school year.

We are also delighted to introduce our Head Girl Team for 2026–2027:

Head Girl: Muireann Bagley
Deputy Head Girls: Katie Bryans, Niamh Rowney and Chiamaka Uchegbu

Our Student Leaders play an important role in school life, representing and supporting their fellow students across Form Classes, subject areas, sport and extracurricular activities, as well as initiatives including JEDI, JPIC and the Environment.

We look forward to seeing all of our Student Leaders in action throughout the year and to the contribution they will make to our school community.

Our Senior Prefects will take on one of their first official duties at our Information Evening tomorrow, Tuesday, 15th September, from 5:30–8:00pm, where they will welcome 6th Class students and their families, provide tours of the school and share their own experience of life in Loreto Balbriggan.

We wish our Head Girl Team and all of our Student Leaders every success in their roles for the year ahead.
