Loreto Schools and IBVM Sisters celebrate Mary Ward week every year from 23rd (Birthday) to the day of her death – 30th January. Mary Ward’s founding vision was to respond to God’s call for active engagement in the Church and the world.
This week in Loreto Balbriggan we will mark the week with a series of events and reflections including; lessons based upon Mary Ward in Religion classes, daily announcements, a Mary Ward themed sacred space and a special Morning Prayer on Wednesday morning based up the life of Mary Ward.
Reflection is a central part of the Loreto tradition and is a practice that we encourage our students to engage in. This link leads to the Loreto Student Reflection for Post-Primary students during Mary Ward Week 2015. All students are encouraged to engage and reflect in this the week of Mary Ward.
