Update May 11th: Well done to the team of Dagmara Dobkowska, Sofia Patriarca, Saoirse Waddilove and Ellie Mortimer on coming third in the competition.
Loreto Balbriggan will have one team of 4 students in Salter’s Festival of Chemistry which takes place on Saturday 11th May at Trinity from 9am to 4 approx. The students will be given 2 experimental challenges in the labs in the morning and in the afternoon they attend a Chemistry show of fun experiments.
As there will be many students interested, there will be a short test (10-15mins) next Friday, May 3rd, in Room 5 at the start of both lunches based on material in the 1st year science syllabus. The team will then be chosen from the best results.
