The 4th Year Home Economics students attended a half day seminar in Teagasc Food Centre in Ashtown, Dublin 15. The students got a great insight into the Irish food industry. They got a tour of the centre which included a Sensory Analysis session. Here the students had to taste different brands of orange juice and decide which one they preferred and why. They also got to observe a Doctorate student analysing beef burgers!!
