Cloughjordan is a unique destination as it is home to both Ireland’s first Eco village and Ireland’s first Community Supported Farm. Cloughjordan House Cookery School works alongside the Farm and Ecovillage to educate students in all aspects of food. Some of our 4th year Home Economics students are attending a two day cookery course in Cloughjordan Cookery School in February. Watch this space for photos of the students exploits while they pick their own fruit, vegetables and herbs and then cook their own dinner using the produce they harvested. The students were encouraged to bring a pair of wellies!!! More to come…
