Bord Bia Presentation and Cookery Demonstration for 4th Year students

Bord Bia gave a very informative talk to 4th Year Home Economics students on Wednesday 17th of October. The talk focussed on health and nutrition for a student in secondary school. A cookery demonstration was part of the presentation. Four dishes that were quick and easy to make were demonstrated, Minced Lamb with Pak Choy and Chillies, Beef Stirfry with Broccoli, Frittata, Penne with Bacon. The students sampled all of the dishes prepared. Overall an excellent presentation and the students thoroughly enjoyed the experience. All of the students received copies of the recipes, so perhaps they might like to practice some of the dishes prepared at home?!!
