The Board of Management seeks to appoint a deputy principal to Loreto Secondary School, Balbriggan, a Catholic school under the trusteeship of Loreto Education Trust. The successful candidate will join the senior leadership team from September 1st 2024
- The successful candidate will be one of three deputies working to support the principal in upholding the Loreto ethos and the education vision for the school as expressed in the school’s mission statement and agreed upon by the Board of Management.
- Working in collaboration with the senior management team and supported by the assistant principals, the deputy principal will carry out duties as assigned by the principal and agreed by the Board of Management in line with the needs and priorities of Loreto Balbriggan now and into the future.
- The principal and, where required, the Chairperson of the Board of Management will discuss specific duties with the successful candidate. The Board of Management will review these duties from time to time.
The post is subject to conditions of employment as laid down by Department of Education regulations.
