September 13th

On Tuesday we celebrated our Opening Year Mass. Thanks to Fr Dónal Toal who was the celebrant. The theme of the mass was ‘The future in our hands’.  Education is important in guiding us to be the best that we can be. Each new school year we are given the opportunity to grow. We pray that this year, the lessons we learn, the wisdom we receive and the friendships we make, shape and determine our future.

On Friday we had ‘Wear Your Jersey to School Day’. It was a fund raising day to raise funds for O’Dwyers

GAA club in Balbriggan, who very generously allow the school to use their facilities, for which we are very grateful. In the afternoon there was a special surprise for everyone when up and coming boy band New Rules entertained the students. The band are touring at the moment and are eager to promote positive mental health amongst young people The band is managed by the team behind, One Direction, Olly Murs and 5 Seconds of Summer and we wish them every success for the future.
