Celebrating Music, Sport and Student Achievement
On Wednesday, 38 members of our Senior Choir took part in the Emmanuel Concert 2026 in the Helix at DCU. The Emmanuel Programme brings together secondary school students from across the Dublin Archdiocese to perform liturgical and choral music.
The day began with rehearsals, followed by a workshop led by Trócaire focusing on the theme of justice and equality. Afterwards, the students travelled to the Helix for a dress rehearsal ahead of the evening concert. That evening, the choir performed alongside hundreds of students from many other schools.
Our choir brought great enthusiasm and energy to their performance and thoroughly enjoyed the opportunity to sing fantastic music together.

Junior and Senior Rugby
The Junior and Senior Rugby 7s teams recently attended Round 2 of the Fingal Cup, which took place at Balbriggan Rugby Football Club. Both the Junior and Senior teams performed exceptionally well on the day, winning all of their matches and showing great teamwork, determination and skill throughout the tournament. Their hard work and commitment on the pitch made for an excellent series of performances.
The day was made even more special with a visit from Leo the Lion, the mascot of Leinster Rugby, who stopped by to meet the players and support the event. Players also had the chance to meet members of the Leinster Women’s Rugby Team, which added to the excitement of the day and provided great inspiration for the students.
Overall, it was a brilliant day out with plenty of excellent rugby on display.

DCC Indoor Track Relay Event
Junior and Senior athletes recently enjoyed a fantastic day of athletics at the DCC Indoor Track Relay Event, held at the National Indoor Arena in the Sport Ireland Campus. The event brought together schools from across Dublin to compete in a series of exciting relay races. Our students performed exceptionally well on the day, with three teams returning home with medals following some excellent performances on the track.
It was a brilliant display of teamwork, effort and sportsmanship from all of the students who took part. The day was made even more special when the girls were presented with their medals by Olympic gold medallist Kellie Harrington, which was a huge honour and a memorable moment for everyone involved.

Junior A Hockey Team Compete in Leinster League 1A Final
Hard luck to our Junior A hockey team who competed in the Leinster League 1A Final today against Loreto College St Stephen’s Green. The match took place at Three Rock Rovers Hockey Club and finished 2–0 in favour of our opponents. Despite the result, it was a brilliant match played with great intensity, skill and speed throughout. The team showed fantastic determination, teamwork and commitment on the pitch and represented the school with great pride.
Many thanks to Leinster Hockey and Three Rock Rovers Hockey Club for organising and hosting such a well-run event. A special thank you to all of the families who came along to support the team on the day. Your encouragement from the sidelines meant a great deal to the players.
Well done to the team and their coaches on reaching the final and for a fantastic effort throughout the competition.
