Parents’ Association AGM Reminder
Our Parents’ Association AGM takes place this Thursday, 11th September at 7:30pm in the Amharclann, our school theatre. We are delighted to welcome Amanda McGuinness—founder of Little Puddins and Head of Autism Advocacy and Professional Practice with Flourish Autism Consultancy & Training—as our guest speaker.
Amanda will share a powerful and personal perspective on family life, covering:

Masking, burnout, ARFID, and school avoidance

The pressures of raising multi-neurodivergent children today

Practical ways to support parents and foster acceptance among siblings

How to help non-Autistic children and teens understand and embrace Autistic peers
She will also discuss practical strategies and compassionate reflection, centred on what it means to raise and support Autistic teenagers in affirming, accepting ways.
