Transition Year Sleepout Raises Over €17,000 for Focus Ireland

Over 150 Transition Year students and teachers braved Storm Amy on Friday night to take part in the Focus Ireland Sleepout. Equipped with sleeping bags, duvets, tents, and even blow-up mattresses, they have already raised over €17,000 (and counting) in support of families experiencing homelessness.

In preparation for the event, students were inspired by a visit from John O’Haire, Head of Family Services at Focus Ireland, who spoke about the vital work being done and the real impact of their fundraising efforts. A special thank you also goes to Hillary Copeland from Focus Ireland for joining us on the night, sharing words of encouragement, and presenting the iconic yellow beanie hats.

We are deeply grateful to our entire school community for their generosity and support—together, we are helping to make a meaningful difference. If you would still like to contribute, please follow the link to make a donation. Well done to everyone involved!
