1C, 1D and 1H participated a mini field study on Balbriggan beach this week after studying The Sea in Geography. The students studied coastal erosion through measuring wave frequency as well as conducting a beach fabric analysis which helps to understand coastal deposition. The students also completed a field sketch of the cliff.
