Leading, Learning and Achieving Together
On 7th May our Ember team attended their graduation ceremony alongside students from a number of Loreto schools and other schools across the Dublin Diocese. The ceremony was a wonderful celebration of the commitment, leadership, and faith journey that the students have undertaken throughout the Ember programme.
The students received graduation certificates from Archbishop Dermot Farrell in recognition of their dedication and involvement. It was a memorable moment for all in attendance and a fitting acknowledgement of the hard work and enthusiasm the students have shown during the year. The ceremony also featured inspiring contributions from An Tobar Nua, whose music and reflections added greatly to the atmosphere of celebration and community throughout the day.
Congratulations to all of the girls on their graduation. This is a fantastic achievement and a truly special milestone to celebrate.

SciFest Success
Congratulations to our students, Eva O’Connor and Grace Kelly, on their outstanding success at SciFest@Grangegorman, where they were awarded the Social Sciences Award for their project entitled “Period Power: Perceived vs Measured Strength During Menstruation in Adolescents.” This award is a wonderful recognition of the students’ dedication, teamwork, and curiosity, as well as their willingness to investigate a topic that is both highly relevant and meaningful for young people.
We would also like to congratulate all of our SciFest entrants, Akshaya Upadhyay, Charlene Paul and Ewelina Stragowska, and Jessica McEvoy and Aoife Bolger, for their hard work, creativity, and superb presentations on the day. Each student showed tremendous commitment to their projects and engaged enthusiastically with the judging panels and visitors. The standard of work produced was outstanding, and it was wonderful to see such innovation, confidence, and passion for scientific enquiry on display.
Well done to everyone involved on a fantastic day of learning, discovery, and achievement.

RSA Awards
Congratulations to our Transition Year students, who achieved outstanding success at the Road Safety Matters Awards ceremony held at The Johnstown Estate, where they were awarded second place for their road safety presentation delivered to first-year students. The students were recognised for their engaging, informative, and impactful presentation, which focused on promoting awareness around road safety and encouraging responsible behaviour among young people.
Following the ceremony, the TY students also had the opportunity to enjoy the interactive games and simulators on the RSA Interactive Shuttle. The experience gave students a hands-on insight into the importance of road safety, reaction times, hazard awareness, and responsible decision-making in a fun way.
