Developing Skills
The Atrium was buzzing with energy as over 70 First Year students met their TY buddies for the first session of Homework Club this evening. This exciting programme pairs Transition Year students with First Years to help ease their transition into secondary school life. Over the next 10 weeks, the TYs will provide invaluable support, offering tips on locker organization, help develop self-management skills, and help out with homework. This initiative not only helps the younger students settle into their new environment but also fosters a sense of community and mentorship within our school.
‘Develop Me’ Workshops
Last week our Transition Year students took part in ‘Develop Me’ Workshops, designed to enhance their team-building and problem-solving skills. Through hands-on activities and real-world scenarios, students engaged in valuable training focused on two key areas: project management and effective teamwork. These sessions provided our students with practical skills and insights that will benefit them in both their academic and future professional lives.
‘Information Evening’
