Getting Ready for the New School Year – School Book Collection
There has been lots happening behind the scenes in Loreto Balbriggan over the summer as we get ready to welcome our students back for the 2026-2027 academic year.
Our gym is currently packed with books, boxes and stationery, with thousands of items being sorted, organised and prepared for students across all year groups. Our librarian, Jane, and her Team have been incredibly busy over the summer coordinating this huge task, making sure that books and stationery are sorted, packed and ready for every student. As you can see from the photos, it has been quite an operation.
Reminder: Book & Stationery Collection
Students can collect their books and stationery on the following dates:

1st and 5th Year students in particular will be collecting a considerable number of books and supplies, and their boxes can be very heavy. Please note that school lockers will not be available on collection days, so all books and supplies collected will need to be brought home. We strongly recommend that students arrange transport by car where possible or bring a sturdy trolley or suitcase with wheels to make transporting their books home a little easier.
The countdown to the new school year is well and truly on, and we are looking forward to welcoming everyone back to Loreto Balbriggan very soon!
