Thursday 27th August

• 1st Years: Welcome & Orientation — 9:10am–12:20pm
• Transition Years: Induction — 9:10am–11:10am (Gym)
• 2nd Years: 10:10am–11:10am (Gym)

Friday 28th August

• 1st Years: Orientation continues— 9:10am–12:20pm
• Transition Years: Induction continues— 9:10am–12:20pm
• 3rd & 5th Years: 9:10am–11:10am
• 6th Years: 10:10am–11:10am

Monday 31st August

Classes begin for ALL students at 9:10am and will run until 1:20pm. All TY students will take part in Develop Me Workshops and CAT4 assessments from 2:00pm–4:00pm.

Arrival at School

For the safety of all members of our school community, we ask that parents/guardians do not drive onto the school grounds at drop-off or collection times.

A Special Welcome to Our 1st Years

We are especially looking forward to welcoming our new 1st Year students to Loreto on Thursday morning. Our Senior Prefects will be waiting at the school gate to greet our 1st Years and will accompany them to the Amharclann for their first Assembly. We know that the first morning of secondary school is a very special one, and we look forward to meeting our new 1st Years, helping them to settle in and welcoming them to the Loreto community.

We wish all of our students and families a very positive start to the 2026–2027 school year and look forward to welcoming everyone back to Loreto Balbriggan.
