Loreto Balbriggan at the National Ploughing Championships
Our 5th Year students, Grace Allen and Emer Dawson and their teacher, Mr. Doyle, have arrived at the National Ploughing Championships in Screggan, Tullamore. Grace and Emer will present their project—“Exploring Nature-Based Solutions in Agriculture and Our Community”—as part of the Certified Irish Angus Schools Competition. Tomorrow, they will be formally presented with five Irish Angus calves, which they will help raise over the coming months. We’re excited to follow all the action over the next couple of days. If you’re attending, be sure to visit them at Block 1, Row 11, Stand 231 and show your support.
