Incoming 1st Year Entrance Assessment and Subject Fair

This morning, we were delighted to welcome our incoming 1st Year students to the school for their Entrance Assessment. From the very start, the class of 2032 showed great resilience and determination, braving the wind and rain to be with us. Despite the weather, the enthusiasm and positivity they brought through our doors was truly wonderful to see. It was a pleasure to meet students from such a wide range of primary schools, both within our local community and further afield. The sense of excitement and curiosity among the students made for an uplifting atmosphere throughout the morning.

A huge well done and thank you goes to our Senior Prefects who played an integral role in the success of the day. From ensuring every student was set up with a Chromebook to hosting a lively and informative Subject Fair in the gym for students and parents, their leadership, organisation, and teamwork were exceptional. We also had a number of 3rd and TY students who were fantastic ambassadors for their subjects at the Fair.

We now look forward to welcoming our new students and their parents once again for the Information Talk next Thursday, 12th February, in Amharclann. We are excited to continue this journey with the class of 2032 and can’t wait to officially welcome them in the months ahead.
