Exam week concluded this week. Parents/Guardians will be notified when Christmas reports are available to view on Compass.

Congratulations to  5th Year students,  Ness Pilot, Ruby Markey, and Fiona Tolan who competed in the national finals of the ‘Junk Kouture’ on Friday. Ruby and Fiona’s creation ‘Wonderland’ and Ness’ ‘Tribal Creation’ were filmed in the beautiful setting of Smock Alley.  The film along with all the other regions’ films and will be aired on RTÉ in December when the winners will be announced.

TY students had a busy week this week.  On Thursday they partici[pated in Jiu-Jitsu workshops and on Friday, Taekwondo workshops. In the afternoons they created ceramic Christmas decorations using their own designs.

On Friday,  Jenny Haden, from the Yellow Flag programme visited the school. Jenny presented Oein De Bhairduin’s debut book ‘Why the Moon Travels’  to the school library. Loreto Balbriggan has qualified for the yellow flag programme and this book will assist the school in the eight steps to achieve the coveted flag.

Congratulations to Fiona Tolan who has selected been selected as Junior Girls’Captain in Balbriggan Golf Club.
